What's the Best Way to Edit a PDF File?
If you need to edit a PDF file, you need a better solution than paying the huge price tag for Adobe Acrobat's Professional Edition. You could feed your PDF through an online conversion service, but some of these sites are known to install malware on your computer and misuse your private information.
Your best bet is a downloadable software program for your computer that will convert your PDF file to an editable Word document and keep it private on your hard drive.
These programs scan your PDFs and output them to .doc files with all of the formatting in place. They keep the images where they belong, too. You can simply pop the file open in Microsoft Word or other word processing software, edit the file, and save it.

Note that this software only converts PDF to Word. If you want to save a Word document as a PDF file, there are lots of good freeware programs available. You can also try using the built-in "Save as a PDF" feature in Word 2013, but watch out for formatting errors.
